The Firing Line is the only indoor public shooting range in Rockland County--the place to learn to shoot safely, and at affordable rates. Learn to shoot for beginners
At The Firing Line, the emphasis is on safety and education! One-on-one teaching from patient, experienced instructors (male and female) provides the new firearm owner with the kind of instruction he or she needs to handle firearms safely and with confidence. An assortment of in-house handguns are available for evaluation by our customers, prior to making that all-important first handgun purchase.

Facilities
The Firing Line has a 20-point, 50-foot indoor range, with effective sound protection and excellent air quality. Each shooting position provides a steel-lined safety booth, individually controlled target retrieval system and adjustable lighting. All handgun calibers are permissible, as well as rifles chambered for pistol cartridges. Shotguns may be used with lead shot (no steel shot allowed). A variety of competitive programs, such as league shooting, can be made available.

Self Defense
The Firing Line provides courses in the art of self-protection, taught by internationally renowned experts John and Vicky Farnam, and John Perkins (developer of "Bare Hands to Handguns" courses). These courses will provide you with basic and advanced tactical handgun skills, as well as non-lethal skills -- from beginner level to professional. If you have a firearm for sale, this is the place to bring it. We can either buy your firearm or put it on consignment. We also accept trade-ins.
